to lose
oneself...
to venture onward...

a family of
travelers

We are a Colorado family. We travel to get lost, study Spanish and import cool stuff we find along the way.

growing up
in motion
connecting cultures
We import exclusively from families in Sololá, Guatemala around Lago Atitlan. We follow Fair Trade Federation principles and shop through friends of friends.

making
friends

Friends make the best teachers, especially for kids. We travel so we can learn Spanish in action.

giving
back
Our items are made by working mothers. The more we import, more money gets in women's hands. That means more food on the table and more opportunities for kids.

We couldn't find such amazing treasures without local help in Guatemala. Exporting and importing together gives us purpose to connect and help each other, family to family.
studying
together
Our import business pays part of our tuition at San Pedro Spanish School. We enjoy the purpose and repetition of shopping for imports together with our Spanish teachers, Zandra and Saydy. Juniper is getting ready for her fourth trip down to the school in February of 2023.

learning
language
early
We want our daughter to learn Spanish while she is young-- it's easier that way. She's had two passports already, with plenty of stamps from around Central America. Importing helps pay for her adventurous education.

learning
how to
hustle
Selling imports is like a kid's lemonade stand... but a whole lot more adventurous! We seek out producers together as a family, and we sell together as a family-- at the local market, festivals, parking lots and online.

helping
niños del
lago
San Pedro Spanish school is great place for foreigners to study Spanish. They also offer free English classes to local kids. When you study at the school, you are helping the local kids. You can also volunteer to teach English, like our daughter Juniper Jane.

thank you for your support
Your purchase helps families in Guatemala and Colorado to achieve our dreams, together. Thank you for your business.
